Colin originally worked for an engineering firm back in the seventies but he always had a passion for photography, an interest handed down for his grandfather who was a photographer and scientist.

Colin's first published photo (4 at once in fact) was in Surfing World in 1972... from there the rush began , a few more pics, an article on NZ in 1976, but after that no more - too many cameras on the beach and too many good waves being missed.

He worked in a wedding studio for about 5 years (part time) photographing lots of weddings, portraits, modelling, newspaper pics etc and many hours in the darkroom.

After completing a photography course in Sydney he decided to try his hand at commercial, travel and advertising photography, and also established a digital photo library (Australian Image Library - Sydney) in 1990. After many assignments both here and overseas Colin decided to move to Northern NSW in 1993.

In the past few years Colin has worked in all facets of the industry in this area and has established a vast photo library of the area which is much in demand for brochure, catalogue magazine and book publications. This electronic album contains only a small same of Colin's work and if he doesn't have the shot you require chances are he will take it for you.
